Endotherm History

The company was founded on the campus of the Saarland University (Germany) in 1999 by Lars Kattner, starting with the development of fire proof coatings (therefore the company was named "Endotherm").

Later on, serving as a contract research organization (CRO), numerous projects in medicinal chemistry for clients from research oriented pharmaceutical companies were executed.

Since 2008, the company is involved with internal research projects, funded by the EU commission and the federal ministry of economic affairs, addressing heart failure, arrhythmias and infectious diseases.

Today, the company is additionally involved with the synthesis of biomarkers to be used as reference and calibration standards for assay development and routine diagnosis in clinical chemistry, mainly focused on vitamin D metabolites and labelled pharmaceutical substances.
